ORILLIA’S GOT TALENT: All ages, if you have 2 minute routine of your talent and you would like to perform on Canada Day we would LOVE to see it! Bring your music, instrument, or necessary props. Sign up starts at 10:00am in the Information Tent. Parents must sign consent form for anyone under the age of 18 to perform, Show time is 3 PM on July 1st.

THE PARADE: Marshalling takes place on Albert and Mississauga Street at 11 AM. The Parade starts promptly at 12 PM and goes down Mississauga Street and along Centennial Drive and disperses at the north park entrance (Jarvis Street).
This parade celebrates Canada’s Birthday and Heritage. We encourage red and white, music, bands, flats, dignitaries, walking groups and animals (insurance certificate required).
We also encourage local award winners i.e. Citizen of the Year, Fair Ambassador, Woman of the Year, etc. to submit a parade application. Please go to Forms Tab for application and information.
Wheely Great Parade: Decorate your wheels to take part in the Wheely Great Parade. Bicycles, tricycles, wagons, skateboards, wheelchairs and scooters can take part in this annual event. The parade begins at 10:30 AM on July 1st. Participants of all ages can register between 9:00am and 10:20am in the park. Just look for our sign at the Park Entrance. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Immediately after the parade, the Children’s Village will be officially declared open. Children’s Village activities will provide something for every child, from pony rides, inflatables, crafts and face painting.
CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES: All children’s activities are free including the pony rides.
ENVIRONMENTAL DISPLAYS: All of us treasure the natural beauty, resources and expansiveness of our country. We’ve become more aware of how precious they are, and of the need to use them wisely. There will be several groups participating at Orillia Canada Day this year. They will inform and entertain all ages.
