Lightfoot days is a weekend filled with musician’s stories, songs and memorabilia in honour of Orillia native, Gordon Lightfoot.
This year, in addition to its great tours, music and memorabilia, Lightfoot Days boasts two marquee events. On Nov 4 Classic Lightfoot Live performs the ultimate tribute concert at St Paul’s Centre, where it all began, with a special performance by the church choir followed by a Bronze Bust Installation at the Orillia Opera House on Nov 5 with Mr. Lightfoot himself.
Other activities happening around town include a Coffeehouse Revival with Nicole ‘Songbird’ Coward, Neal Quinn along with Beams will be performing at the Brownstone Cafe, local journalist and historian John Swartz will be onsite at Golden Leaves to share his knowledge of Lightfoot history and the sculpture, and so much more!
