An event every week that begins at 10:30am on Saturday, repeating until March 4, 2018
Tom Goldsmith is an acclaimed nature illustrator and has several published books to his credit. Tom will host a weekly sketching session where he and interested parties will gather in the center and head out to sketch the wonderful complexity of the wye marsh and it’s wonders.
Sketching in the field isn’t about creating finished frame-able works of art, its about learning to see. The act of drawing is secondary. By sketching from live subjects we are forced to observe at a much deeper level. Through that observation we come to know our subject far more thoroughly.
