Neil Simon’s Plaza Suite

Neil Simon’s Plaza Suite at the Orillia Opera House is a summer hit!

Audiences are flocking to the OOH’s Studio Theatre to see Viviana Zarrillo and Nigel Hamer, along with Alison MacKay Liam Collins in the first show The OOH’s summer season.  Andrew Wagner-Chazalon in OrilliaMatters.com calls the play “witty without being arch, biting without being acerbic. It’s funny, occasionally poignant, and just wickedly entertaining.” John Swartz of OrilliaSUN Online declares “This stuff is downright enjoyable, no, hilarious, no, the funniest…”

An anthology of three short plays all taking place in 1968, in the same suite at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. Considered one of Simon’s best plays, the show is presented by some of Canada’s best professional actors. Both Zarrillo has appeared at major theatres across Canada, Hamer has also credits on Broadway, and both are veterans of the Shaw Festival.
