A very popular winter activity for the whole family to enjoy. There are hills and mountains located all over Canada and Ontario’s Lake Country is blessed to have TWO popular establishments where this can be enjoyed. Snow Shoeing is a great way to explore the outdoors and get some exercise at the same time. Snow shoeing can be a very therapeutic activity and is a great way to feel one with the nature. Snow tubing is a fantastic winter activity for the whole family. If you have not tried it, it is one of those winter activities that everyone should enjoy. And this year Horseshoe Resort doubled their tubing hill increasing it by adding 1200 feet of runway and an additional drop!
Fat biking is a newer winter activity to the outdoor adventures roster. Every year it is becoming more and more popular. Skating is a very popular winter activity in Canada. From Hockey, to figure skating, free staking, trail skating, and speed skating, we will try it on skates.
